Riska Munawarah (b. 1998) is a documentary photographer based in Aceh, Indonesia. Riska studied photography at the Permata Photojournalist Grant workshop. Her interest in people and their relationships manifested in wider themes including social changes, human rights, feminism and the environmental issue. Moreover, she uses photography to tell a story and its social context, as well as to challenge the status quo by capturing daily moments in her surroundings. Her work have been published in NRC Handelsblad, The Guardian, The Washington Post, act.
