Every time the number of Thalassemia sufferers increases, their grief continues to deepen. Their blood continues to flow for the hope of healing patients. I met them at the Blood for Life Foundation (BFLF) Aceh shelter, photographing them as heroes amidst the drying up of blood stocks in Aceh.
